Job Scope:
Working in the Finance Services Department, you will be responsible for the following:
- Perform finance and accounting functions, including but not restricted to accounting for daily revenue collection, accounts receivable, accounts payable, month and year-end closing and fixed assets
- Work closely with departments on debt arrears management, perform and manage debt recovery actions
- Liaise with departments and ministries/agencies on returns and submissions
- Provide advice and support on financial matters
- Prepare audit schedules for statutory and other audits
- Attend to requests or enquiries from external and internal customers
- Handle any other matters as assigned
Job Requirements:
· A Degree in Accountancy or related discipline or Diploma with 1-2 years of relevant experience
· Proficiency in MS Office applications
· Organised, meticulous and able to multi-task
· Independent, resourceful and self-motivated
· Team player with good interpersonal skills
· Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
· You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time
Salary: $12 to $21 per hour
Location: Scotts Road
Contract Period: 11 months
Working Arrangement: Mon - Fri
