Responsibilities:
- Design and develop communication systems, including hardware and software components. Create schematics, layouts, and specifications to meet project requirements.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of communication systems and equipment. Ensure that systems are installed correctly and function efficiently.
- Conduct rigorous testing of communication systems to ensure performance and reliability. Diagnose and resolve issues, providing technical support to minimize downtime.
- Manage communication projects from inception to completion. Coordinate with stakeholders, ensure timely delivery, and maintain project documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in communication technologies. Conduct research and implement innovative solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Ensure that all communication systems comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
Requirements:
- At least Nitec/Higher Nitec in technical disciplin
- At least 2years of experience in designing, installing, and maintaining communication systems. Proven track record of working with various communication technologies and equipment.
- Proficiency with communication protocols, network design, and diagnostic tools. Strong understanding of RF (radio frequency) engineering, signal processing, and telecommunication systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex communication issues. Strong analytical capabilities to optimize system performance.
- Experience in managing engineering projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and ensure project completion within budget and timelines.
