About the company
I am working with a UK Magic Circle firm. They are looking for a Paralegal to join their Capital Markets team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lawyers with the preparation and review of legal documents related to capital markets and corporate transactions.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and market practices.
- Coordinate and manage due diligence processes, including the collection and review of documents.
- Prepare and organise transaction documentation, including prospectuses, offering memoranda, and other related materials.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders as required.
- Maintain and update case files, ensuring all documentation is accurately filed and easily accessible.
- Assist in the preparation of board resolutions, shareholder agreements, and other corporate governance documents.
- Support the team in managing transaction timelines and ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Perform other administrative and support tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field (*open to fresh grads who are keen to gain exposure in an international law firm)
- Previous experience as a Paralegal in Capital Markets/Corporate or any transactional practice area would be a plus but not mandatory
- Excellent research, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
