In this position, you will oversee key aspects of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, with a smaller focus on project-related tasks.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Identify inefficiencies in financial planning and forecasting processes; streamline workflows and implement corrective actions.
- Drive process enhancements and automation initiatives within the finance team to improve planning and forecasting processes.
- Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast; identify key variances and provide actionable insights to management.
- Assist in preparing regular financial and KPI reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making on investment opportunities, pricing strategies, and operational initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes that may impact the company’s performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, with a background in the financial industry.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting software, and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of bridging financial and non-financial information.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
