KEY ACTIVITIES
d²X Expertise is looking for an experienced and motivated Consultant who will assist the APAC team. This role will be based in Singapore, working closely together with the account management, the services team and collaborate with the product teams.
They/they will be part of a team of skilled consultants, contributing to the implementation and support of the application. This includes installing new modules and features utilizing the following tools:
- NeoXam DataHub: A highly comprehensive, efficient, and customizable centralized data management solution in the market. It serves as a hub, central repository, and user-friendly data management tool for financial institutions to handle data effectively.
- NeoXam IBOR: An exceptionally independent and flexible Investment Book of Record, tailored to furnish Asset Managers with a unified, robust, and continuously updated source of positions, valuations, and forecasts. This supports enhanced data quality from various perspectives.
MISSION
Engage in the implementation of NeoXam DataHub and/or NeoXam IBOR at esteemed financial organizations worldwide:
- Execute software implementation involving customization, workflow definition, and optimization of NeoXam DataHub/IBOR using advanced technology from NeoXam.
- Offer support in troubleshooting, identifying, and resolving installation and implementation issues to meet client satisfaction within predefined time frames.
- Provide clients with valuable best practice guidance, leveraging technical expertise, NeoXam software proficiency, and industry experience.
- Ensure effective coordination and responsive follow-up to client needs and requirements, liaising with relevant NeoXam departments and colleagues as necessary.
- Effectively communicate NeoXam's offerings to clients and pinpoint opportunities for enhancing client sales/services to better align with their needs.
- Participate in client support initiatives and contribute to pre-sales activities when required.
- Deliver project reports to both NeoXam management and clients upon request.
- Stay updated on the functional and technical features and improvements of NeoXam DataHub and/or NeoXam IBOR continuously.
- Swiftly address and resolve any installation and implementation challenges to the client's contentment within agreed time frames.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Completed studies in either Engineering or Business School
- Holds a Degree/Master’s degree or an equivalent qualification
Experience:
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Financial software implementation and IT projects within the banking/financial industry
- Beneficial to have prior experience with NeoXam DataHub
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in a development language (Java, C, C++) to write rules in scripting language
- Experience with RDBMS, Data Modeling, and SQL language
- Understanding of Enterprise Data Management and ETL techniques and processes
- Familiarity with financial data provider feeds such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE, and others
- Knowledge of financial instruments such as Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives
Project Experience:
- Previous project involvement across multiple stages of the project life cycle
