Financial Coordination and Reporting:
- Coordinate month-end and year-end financial closing processes with the Finance Shared Service Centre (FSC).
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to HQ.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports.
- Coordinate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during audits.
Implementation and Transition:
- Integrate process designs with finance and business units.
- Define clear processes, accountabilities, and responsibilities.
- Review procedure documents and user guides.
- Manage transition and feedback from key stakeholders.
- Define and negotiate service level agreements (SLAs) detailing scope and KPIs.
- Collaborate with HQ on integrating internal control frameworks into process design.
- Reassign tasks within the Finance team as needed.
Coordination:
- Act as the point of contact for escalation of FSC-related issues, ensuring effective resolution.
- Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to review service delivery, address issues, and align on goals.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive SLA review plan, ensuring timely monitoring and transparent communication on issues.
- Support the integration of new functions/processes into the FSC.
- Participate in FSC transformation initiatives, including system implementations and process redesigns.
Process Compliance and Improvement:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and standards.
- Conduct regular process reviews and audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Update procedure documents and user guides according to Group accounting guidelines, policies, and thresholds.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices.
Additional Duties:
- Support the implementation of new financial systems or tools.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Provide support for financial operations as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar finance coordination role.
- Proven experience in managing relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of IFRS
