Financial Coordination and Reporting:

  • Coordinate month-end and year-end financial closing processes with the Finance Shared Service Centre (FSC).
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to HQ.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during audits.

Implementation and Transition:

  • Integrate process designs with finance and business units.
  • Define clear processes, accountabilities, and responsibilities.
  • Review procedure documents and user guides.
  • Manage transition and feedback from key stakeholders.
  • Define and negotiate service level agreements (SLAs) detailing scope and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with HQ on integrating internal control frameworks into process design.
  • Reassign tasks within the Finance team as needed.

Coordination:

  • Act as the point of contact for escalation of FSC-related issues, ensuring effective resolution.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to review service delivery, address issues, and align on goals.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive SLA review plan, ensuring timely monitoring and transparent communication on issues.
  • Support the integration of new functions/processes into the FSC.
  • Participate in FSC transformation initiatives, including system implementations and process redesigns.

Process Compliance and Improvement:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and standards.
  • Conduct regular process reviews and audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Update procedure documents and user guides according to Group accounting guidelines, policies, and thresholds.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices.

Additional Duties:

  • Support the implementation of new financial systems or tools.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Provide support for financial operations as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar finance coordination role.
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of IFRS
