The Role
- Manage operations of medical services for corporate clients
- Collaborate and liaise with external and internal stakeholders, including third-party vendors and medical professionals
- Project management and execution – plan and coordinate operations activities and resource utilization to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
- Oversee and perform all required documentation on medical services to meet both regulatory and company operating standards
- Perform support duties to ensure smooth operations of maritime medical services
- Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with ship crew, agents, and ship owners to ensure smooth medical services and operations, including scheduling/confirming jobs, and responding to agents’ requests/email in a timely manner
- Coordinate and facilitate movement of crew members and doctors between agencies and clinics
- Attend to seafarers in clinic
- Escort maritime patients to medical appointments
The Person
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ level or its equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Nursing and paramedic knowledge/experience is an added advantage
- Knowledge of maritime services industry is an added advantage
- Excellent communication skills and strong command of the English language
- Team player who is able to perform tasks independently
- Ability to perform ship boarding tasks
- Availability for standby duty after office hours to provide any necessary support services
- Having own transport is preferred, but not required
