Job Summary:
The Accounts Manager will oversee the finance department, requiring a strong background in accounting / finance and having exceptional leadership. Candidates should have 4-6 years of experience in accounting, with expertise in general accounting practices. Responsibilities include handling daily invoicing, data entry, financial statement reconciliations, assisting with costing, billings, and managing taxation/audit matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling full sets of accounts
- Assist with month-end closing and preparation of financial statements
- Compiling and submission of GST returns
- Organising financial data and prepare regular reports
- Familiar with handling regional accounting. e.g. Singapore, Malaysia
- Support other financial-related matters as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Experience in leading a Finance and Accounting team will have added advantage
- Possess Good Knowledge of GAAP
- Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Team player with good communication skills
- Eager to learn
- Open to challenges and proactive to change
- Extensive experience working in accounting/finance in the e-commerce industry, particularly is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
