- Implement and execute visual merchandising strategies
- Ensure brands are presented in accordance to the principal’s Visual Merchandising requirements and consistency for all retail stores
- Creation of layout visuals and floor plans
- Sourcing and liaising with vendors for display props and accessories
- Maintaining consistent display of products posters, POPs, banners, window, and shop surround or event site
- Understand practical needs of Visual Merchandising to maximize product exposure and to optimize sales potential
- Understand retail store design aspects, ie. Color, lighting, materials & finishes, detailing fixtures, etc. as well as the importance of maintaining consistency
- Act as liaison between the central visual staff and branch store personnel
- Interpret and act on visual presentation problems in respective stores and highlight any visual problems to the central visual merchandising department
- Train staff and store personnel on daily basis on creative display techniques
- Conduct training on visual presentation to store staff
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Visual Merchandising or its equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail industry
- May travel between head office and retail outlets
- Good colour sense and understanding of trends
- Ability to multi-task several projects at one time
- Proficient in software like Illustrator, Freehand and Photoshop
- Project management – liaise with internal and external parties in the execution of projects.
- Be able to translate business requirements to Visual Merchandising concepts.
- Organised, merticulous and good communication skills
- Able to commit to work immediately or within short notice period will be an added advantage
- Ability to be innovative and solution oriented
- Ability to work in high stress situations
