IT Implementation Consultant
Our client is a leading supply chain and logistics firm.
In this role, you will oversee project implementations across all business units within the company. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders and clients to leverage technology as a competitive advantage through innovation and by addressing the distinct technology and service needs of the Logistics Business (functional, specialized, and customer-facing).
Roles & Responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert during sales engagements for RFP/RFQ and demonstrate IT technology solutions to customers.
- To support customer success by efficiently acquiring new business and enhancing existing operations.
- Facilitate business solution workshops as necessary for gathering business requirements and improving processes.
- Deliver presentations to project stakeholders (both internal and external).
- Engage with stakeholders at various levels to understand business needs.
- Translate business requirements into detailed documentation, such as Business Requirement Documents nd User Stories.
- Collaborate with external vendors on project aspects and application support.
- To support customer solution initiatives and innovations.
- Translate Business Requirements into System Solutions and Configurations
- Training and User Acceptance Support
- Develop user-friendly training materials.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Studies or Supply Chain/Logistics Management.
- 8 years’ experience in logistics management, freight solutions, warehousing, and distribution, at a regional or global level.
- Strong knowledge of logistics service providers and global transportation (liner) business processes, terminology, and industry practices.
- Proven ability to interact with customers and business users to ascertain their requirements.
- Demonstrates strong strategic planning and critical thinking abilities.
- Possesses excellent communication skills and a proven track record of collaborating effectively across different functions.
- Exhibits resilience to stress and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
