Job Overview
We are looking for experienced and professional Travel Consultants who are focused in delivering superior service to our customers and generating revenue for our company.
We would expect the team to plan and market our services with emphasis in leisure, incentive and official business trips including MICE. You will provide excellent customer service and manage every aspect of the sales.
You will be given certain amount of free hand with discretion by the management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, price and arrange itineraries based on customers’ requirements
- Serve as the contact point for prospects and customers
- Prepare pre-departure information and conduct briefing
- Ensure consistent delivery of high level of service, seamless travel arrangements and positive customer experience
- Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure smooth execution of trips
- Assume duty as tour leader or tour coordinator when required
- Build and maintain good working rapport with partners
Requirements
- Diploma in Tourism / Travel / Leisure studies or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in product sourcing, such as local tours and cruises
- Fluent spoken English, good written communication skills
- Experience working towards achieving sales targets and team goals
- Must be familiar with appropriate travel reservation & ticketing and hotel systems
- Proven ability to build and maintain a loyal customer base
- Able to work independently, pleasant, patience and able to work under pressure
- Strong inter-personal skills.
- Good knowledge of various travel products & well verse in airfare calculation and able to offer competitive travel fare options
- Good computer and familiar with Amadeus
- Must be an excellent team player
