Job Description:
- The Quantity Surveyor, Facilities Management shall be proficient in leading the quantity surveyor team in providing cost estimates and verification of payments to contractors/consultants within stipulated timelines and with accuracy.
- The Lead Quantity Surveyor shall lead the team in the the following works:
- Prepare cost estimation, endorse and ensure timely submission to Customer’s Superintending Officer for approval,
- Prepare financial projection and carry out budgetary and expenditure control of Contractor’s works,
- Prepare monthly payment claims and certify Term Contracts and ensure timely and complete submissions to the Customer’s Superintending Officer for payment
- Evaluate Contractors claims (including Payment Certificate (COP), ensure they are correct in accordance with the Maintenance Term Contracts and Contract Price/ contract rates,
- Review and finalise all draft Final Account (FA) of Term Contracts and prepare the draft Final Account of MA Contract for submission to the Customer for vetting.
- Evaluate, verify and recommend “star rate items” submitted by Contractors, before the start of works, are reasonable and in accordance with fair market prices for the Superintending Officer’s acceptance
- Records all-star rates and quotation rates, analyze and review for future use.
- Prepare tender documents/specifications
- Provide advice on contractual claims, disputes and cost variations
- Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders on cost related matter.
Job Requirements:
- The Lead Quantity Surveyor (QS) should be an Accredited or Registered member with the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers with a minimum of 5 years of relevant local working experiences.
