The GM role will be responsible for spearheading our business development initiatives, building and nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in business development and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company growth targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, international partnerships, and foreign market segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Lead and manage the business development team, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align business development efforts with the company’s overall strategic goals.
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process related to business development activities.
- Drive the development and implementation of best practices in business development and sales processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or management role.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an IT consultancy or tech related role.
- Able to travel frequently to meet with foreign stakeholders and partners.
- Proven track record of successful business development and achieving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close deals.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and forecasts.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
