Roles and Responsibilities
- Participate in the OTI Eastbound business planning process; develop targets and goals related to vessel and account performance; communicate and act with sales regional management to meet the targets
- Analyze vessel utilization and individual customer AP performance using marketing resources to improve lifting performance and business plan compliance
- Develop direct report personnel with performance metrics, directing behavior and action plans which will meet segment performance and trade lane focus goals
- Work closely with regional sales and Space planners to ensure that customer performance is in line with the account plans, awards and overall regional AP is within the service string allocations
- Has a high level of service string knowledge that allows for shifting AP from an oversubscribed service to an underutilized one to maximize vessel utilization within regional buckets in accordance with business plan
- Liaise with NA RHQ Space Management team to align on schedule changes regarding commercial requirements and AP compliance
- Work closely with Trade management, Front Sales Offices, Space Planner to determine commercial impact for rolling/accepting/declining cargo
- Responsible for reporting key AP and performance metrics to GHQ as well as NA RHQ
- Available for possible travel if requested
- Handle other duties as assigned
- Comprehensive and in depth knowledge of ONE’s TPEB trade, market trends, and strategic direction, goals, Organization and business processes
Requirements
- Degree in related field
- Minimum 5 years of specific TP Eastbound marketing management experience, prior industry marketing experience a plus
- Knowledge of vessel services, Account Planning, TP Tender Process
- Strong working knowledge of company operating systems, Looker/OPUS/ONE Force
- Knowledge of data retrieval, analysis and reporting practices
- Demonstrates effective values by being internally and externally customer-focused while supporting the company’s business plan
- Knowledge and understanding of Customer Volume agreements and bid process awards across trades
- Excellent proficiency with MS PowerPoint, and MS Word, Google Suite (exceptional Excel skills required)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; solid analytical and problem-solving skills is a must
- Team player, motivated, disciplined, and good initiative
- Available for extended hours
