Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing & operating strategies
- Establish production arrangements and detail plans to pilot and scale up operations in China
- Develop and implement key work processes and systems to drive quality, service and cost performance. Use productivity and quality management tools and processes to make improvements
- Explore and deploy tools and processes to drive continuous cost improvement. Document all savings from project implementations.
- Participate in developing and improving strategic plans to ensure alignment with the sales projections, revenue growth and profitability in China
- Work closely with the respective teams on technical innovations and technology transfers to China
- Implement all aspects of Capital Expenditure
- Coordinate and implement cost reduction, productivity and total quality management projects
- Review current state of operations and the levels of supply chain performance against best practices
- Monitor supply chain performance, identify bottlenecks and recommend resolution
- Formulate local delivery network and international logistics and freight forwarding plan
- Manage supply chain management standard operation procedures and recommend appropriate improvements
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Operations Management or MBA
- Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experiences, preferably in automotive industries and with exposure to new energy vehicle technologies
- At least 5 years of experiences in managing operations in China
- Knowledge/experiences in diesel engine or automotive industries would be an advantage
- Demonstrated track records in building teams and driving continuous improvement of quality, cycle times, service level and cost control
