Job Responsibilities
To develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy and operational excellence to drive revenue growth and increasing profitability of the Centre.
Strategy:
- Develop and execute the strategy and the roadmaps of the Centre in line to the overall Company’s goals and directions.
- Advise the CEO and Senior Management Team on matters related to the Centre business and operations.
Business Development:
- Develop and execute the business development plan to generate incremental revenue.
- Identify, evaluate and executes new business opportunities aligned with the Centre's strategy.
- Develop strategies for breaking into new and existing markets.
- Develop strategic partnerships to create revenue generation opportunities for the Centre's products and services.
- Use analytics tools to assess viable business development opportunities by leveraging internal and external data.
- Use data to plan and review market development and emerging trends Leverages emerging trends to find business development opportunities.
- Ensure that existing customers’ needs are met and create a pipeline of repeat customers.
- Conduct market surveillance and intelligence to collate and use data to plan and review market development and emerging trends.
- Leverage on emerging trends to find business development opportunities.
Sales & Marketing:
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand the Company's strengths and value proposition to develop sales strategies to drive sustainable and profitable growth.
- Formulate the marketing strategy and plan which align with the overall sales and business development strategy.
- Develop sales schemes and campaigns to achieve sales targets and strategic objectives.
- Promote corporate image and act as the brand ambassador for the Centre and the Company, where applicable.
- Set, monitor and grow brand visibility to achieve market share targets.
- Develop strategies for lead generation, monitoring, and conversion
Product Management:
- Identify future growth opportunities.
- Anticipate future needs and products by analyzing market trends.
- Work with internal stakeholder to deliver modified, revamped or totally new programmes for implementation.
- Assess our product competitiveness against the market and recommends strategies to grow market share.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to customize existing products and services to accommodate new/existing customer bases.
Clients and Trainees Management:
- Set and implement high standards for customer satisfaction and service delivery.
- Have a deep understanding of customer needs.
- Timely management and handling of customer feedback.
Operation Management:
- Develop seamless processes to support the delivery of courses and successful completion of projects.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the business is fully compliant with requirements related to all areas including the marketing of products and services, operational procedures, etc.
- Work with colleagues to leverage on resources and knowledge within the Company to ensure delivery of KPIs and initiatives.
- Manage and optimise operational costs and achieve profit targets.
General Management:
- Direct and motivate subordinates to deliver the Centre’s objectives.
- Proactively build relationships inside and outside the organization to support the Company strategy and vision.
- Provide periodic business updates to management.
- Any ad hoc projects/initiatives and work scope that are assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Others:
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the Company from time to time.
Requirements:
- A master's degree in a business-related field and/or in training or education is an added advantage.
- 5 to 7 years of experience (with minimum 3 years of management experience. 5 years of experience in running and managing executive training and development courses.)
- Able to develop, articulate and present a sound business plan and strategy.
- Able to do market opportunity identification and assessment.
- Familiar with business development and sales forecasting skills.
- Familiar with business financial management.
- Familiar with new product development process.
- Possess good market research skills.
- Possess good understanding of relevant marketing models and methodologies.
- Familiar with executive training and development products, services, distribution channels, and customer segments.
- Possess good understanding of the current and target market segments and how it development with the macroeconomic development.
- Possess good grasp of evolving technology and how to leverage this for the benefit of the business.

- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
