Responsibilities
A. Support Development and Project Managers
· At development feasibility study stage, assist in the followings:
- Prepare Development Cost Plan
- Value engineering exercise and evaluate cost options
- Review tender documents prepared by Consultants
- Review Letter of Award and contract documents prepared by Consultants
- Prepare Development Budget
· At development stage, assist in the followings:
- Continuous value engineering and evaluation of economical options
- Check Contractor’s Preliminaries submissions are in order before work commencement (i.e. insurance, performance bond, etc.)
- Review Consultants’ recommendations on variation orders and costs
- Review Consultants’ recommendations on progress payments
- Track development cost against Budget
- Review Consultants’ recommendations and grounds on Extension of Time for Contractor
- Liaise with Consultants in managing contractual dispute with Contractor
- Administration of construction contracts and Consultant service agreements
· At development completion stage, assist in the followings:
- Check Contractor’s handover documents are in order in accordance to contract requirements upon construction completion
- Review Consultants’ recommendations on Final Account for construction contract
- Track Defects Liability Period expiry of construction contract
- Review Consultants’ recommendations for release of retention sum to Contractor
- Prepare Final Accounts for Consultant Service Agreements
- Prepare Post-Mortem Development Cost Report
B. Others
· Provide cost and payment data to relevant departments for Management reporting and audits
· Assist Property Managers in reviewing maintenance and operation contract documents
· Cover duty for Procurement teammates on procurement matters
· Other tasks assigned by Supervisor
Requirements
· Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
· Minimum 3 years of related working experience, preferably with Consultancy firm
· Meticulous and good interpersonal skills
· Independent, proactive and self-motivated
