Position Overview:

The Assistant Finance Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department by overseeing daily financial operations, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reports. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including variance analysis and trend identification.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, including the consolidation of financial data.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and reconciliation.
  • Perform financial modeling and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in cash flow management and optimize working capital.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Humanities, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a focus on financial analysis and reporting, preferrably with a bank.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Certificate in Management or management accounting
  • Certificate in financial and/or computer application
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
