We are looking for a business development manager who is experienced and ambitious to help us expand our business and clientele. The candidate will be responsible for seeking out new business opportunities for organizations. Help develop, coordinate, and implement plans designed to increase existing business and capture new opportunities. The candidate will be at the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a market penetration strategy for the Indonesian market
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Promote the company brand and expand its reach into your existing network
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in business development, sales or a relevant role
  • Proven sales or expansion track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Dynamics)
  • Proficiency in written & spoken English & Chinese languages
  • Added Advantage if can speak and write in Bahasa Indonesia
  • Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Be goal focussed
  • Able to manage a team of sales or account managers
  • Have an understanding of manufacturing, construction, logistics and supply chain related industries
