Responsibilities:
- Good team player with the ability to work independently and effectively in a diverse environment.
- To source for new businesses by making sales calls, visiting customers & servicing existing clients.
- Swift response to customers, shipment enquiries & freight quotation.
- Responsible for maintaining and developing new business with existing customers.
- Procurement of rates from overseas offices, agents and approved local vendors.
- Preparation of quotations and participation of RFQ, tender bids when required.
- Achieving the annual sales target.
- Reporting to the Head of Sales and working closely with on commercial activities and business development.
- Submission of CRM reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain or other relevant Disciplines
- At least 1 years working experience in Logistics or Freight Forwarding (Air & Ocean)
- Good knowledge in both Freight operations and sales processes.
- Strong customer service, effective communication/presentation skills and good business analytical skills.
- Have existing own client database. (Preffered)
