Job Responsibilities:
- Optimize utilization of human resources, lead and train subordinates under his care to ensure the warehouse is operated at optimum level.
- Provide customer service to dealers, forwarders, suppliers, and staff from other departments with friendly and integrity dealings.
- Carry out warehouse space planning to optimise space and efficiency of goods retrieval. Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety practices, and security at the warehouse.
- Arrange for necessary inspection, certification, and servicing of equipment/forklift and lorry before due dates.
- Ensure receiving operations for all incoming shipments are carried out smoothly without incurring unnecessary storage charges and damage. Alert Logistics for any damage or packaging issues.
- Coordinate with dealers to ensure goods are collected accurately and on time, with the necessary documents signed and passed to Logistics.
- Prepare monthly stock replenishment and monitor the supply situation in the warehouse. Be aware of low stock situation and activate on-time replenishment of unforeseen upsurge in usage.
- Work closely with PDI, service centers, and body shops to ensure on-time and accurate supply. Carry out local sourcing and activate overseas sourcing when required.
- Carry out cycle count and Annual stock check with the team. Maintain stock accuracy to the desired level.
- Perform any other projects as assigned by the Head of Department.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma holder in related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse management or a related area.
- Self-driven and adaptable.
- Able to lead and manage the team to optimise warehouse operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Preferably with Class 3 driving license.
- Willing to perform 5.5 working days.
