1. Role Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Project Manager to join our team in the renovation contractor industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent project management skills, and a proven track record in managing renovation projects from inception to completion.


2. Specific Responsibilities:

• Gain comprehensive knowledge of renovation techniques and processes, including demolition, electrical, plumbing, and finishing work.

• Understand the materials, tools, and equipment commonly used in renovations.

• Learn about building codes, regulations, and permit requirements in the renovation industry.

• Familiarize yourself with different types of renovation projects, such as residential, commercial, and historical restorations.

• Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in construction and renovation.

• Develop strong communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients.

• Practice active listening to understand clients' needs, preferences, and budget constraints.

• Learn to manage client expectations and address any concerns or issues promptly.

• Implement strategies for client retention, such as follow-up visits and loyalty programs.

• Foster a positive client experience by providing personalized and attentive service

• Develop skills in project planning, including scope definition, resource allocation, and scheduling.

• Learn to create detailed project timelines and milestones to ensure timely completion.

• Implement project management tools and software to track progress and manage tasks.

• Understand the principles of risk management and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution

• Gain proficiency in creating accurate cost estimates and budgets for renovation projects.

• Learn to analyze and compare costs of materials, labor, and other project expenses.

• Develop skills in negotiating prices with suppliers and subcontractors to stay within budget.

• Implement cost control measures to monitor and manage project expenses.

• Communicate budget updates and financial reports to clients and stakeholders regularly.

• Develop effective sales techniques to attract new clients and secure renovation contracts.

• Learn to conduct initial consultations to assess clients' needs and propose suitable renovation solutions.

• Create compelling sales presentations and proposals that highlight your company's expertise and value.

• Utilize digital marketing, social media, and networking to generate leads and expand your client base.

• Track and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

• Implement quality control procedures to ensure high standards in all renovation projects.

• Develop a system for regular site inspections and progress assessments.

• Learn to address any defects or issues promptly to maintain project quality.

• Gather client feedback throughout and after the project to gauge satisfaction.

• Continuously improve your processes and services based on client feedback and industry best practices.
