You will be based at our group’s headquarters in Tuas, Singapore, and report to the Senior Operations Manager. You will play a key role in managing end-to-end crewing operations for our foreign and local employees at Pulau Bukom while ensuring compliance to maritime regulations and company policies. You will work out of Tuas and Pulau Bukom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage hiring, new employee onboarding and retention of sea staff.
- Handle workpass administration, maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely payroll processing.
- Coordinate with Fleet Operations team to facilitate certification renewals and ensure proper documentation upkeep.
- Provide HR advisory to employees and managers on people centric issues.
- Lead the change and implementation of new payroll system.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma holder with 2 years of relevant experience in the marine industry.
- Good analytical skills, resourceful, confident, and meticulous.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Proficient in relevant IT tools, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Willing to travel to visit vessels occasionally as and when required.
- Fluent in Malay (preferred) and English to handle Indonesian and/ or English-speaking employees.
