This role involves evaluating and investigating government claims, ensuring accurate documentation, and providing excellent customer service to policyholders. The Claims Associate works closely with other team members and departments to resolve claims efficiently and fairly.
Responsibilities:
- Review and process claims in accordance with company policies and procedures (check disbursements and handle refunds)
- Determine claim eligibility and coverage based on policy terms.
- Analyze claim details and supporting documentation to identify potential fraud or inconsistencies.
- Address inquiries and concerns, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all involved parties.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all communications and claim activities.
- Work closely with team members and other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
- Suggest improvements to claims procedures and policies based on experience and feedback.
Requirements:
- At least an A level or Diploma in any discipline
- 1 to 2 years of working experiences (preferably in processing claims, disbursement and refund)
- Good interpersonal and communicate skills (oral and written)Experience in public sector grants and claims processing would be an advantage.
