Position Summary:
As an Accounting Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Conduct regular financial audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data management.
- Handle ad-hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in an accounting role, preferably within a similar industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations in Singapore.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with various stakeholders.
