About the Role

This role oversees the IT Finance for over 20 subsidiaries. Key IT Finance deliverables are to plan, drive, facilitate and execute Annual IT Work Plan Budget exercise for cluster IT budgets, track, analyse and report IT budget utilisation. Oversees the tracking and maintenance of the applications.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provides IT Finance leadership on IT Finance strategy to ensure alignment to business needs.
  • Supports the team and aligns the IT Work Plan Budget towards strategic directions of different stakeholders and cluster.
  • Provides IT Finance (budget and plans) advisory to the group.
  • Provides IT Finance (budget and plans) advisory to various teams and forums for different purposes such as operating model studies, ad hoc meetings with specific project teams, etc.
  • Provides information to senior management on quarterly IT Budget utilisation.
  • Supports reporting for funded projects (cash-flow and progress report submissions).
  • Manages capital budget substitution.
  • Prepare, analyse and report annual forecast of IT budget utilisation.
  • Supports and coach IT PMs on IT budget, purchases, TP charge-out and expenses, asset verification.
  • Assists in transfer pricing key (TPK) queries.
  • Supports Group subsidiaries Finance on IT financial matters.
  • Plans with C Levels and IT directors to identify IT strategic needs and projects for the group and consolidate into the IT workplan and roadmap.
  • Drive, coordinate and facilitate the reviews and prioritisation of submitted IT workplans.
  • Prepare the annual IT workplan for the IT Steering Committees for endorsement of projects and budget required.
  • Manages and report portfolio of project development and maintenance & support activities.
  • Track KPIs and ensure compliance with group's target ratings.
  • Implements IT policies and processes, to govern and manage IT systems within the organisation.
  • Oversees team to support cluster IT steering Committees, to ensure the meetings are prepared and conducted effectively and efficiently.
  • Tracks the IT infrastructure and application portfolio including reviewing the overall lifecycle of applications and its supporting system software or infrastructure.


Requirements:

  • Degree holder with more than 10 years of relevant working experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, good written/communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational and customer service skills, able to lead and work with cross functional teams.
  • Experience working in a highly matrix organisation and strong teamwork.
  • High level of energy, self-confidence, and enthusiasm with ability to work well with all levels within an organisation.
  • Meticulous and has an eye for details.
  • Proven experience in business analysis.
