Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management and Business Partnering
- Budgeting and Projections: Prepare the annual budget and regular financial projections, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly financial reports to Group Finance, with analysis of Profit & Loss (P/L) statements against budget, providing insightful commentaries.
- Financial Analysis: Monitor financial performance, review balance sheet schedules, and take corrective actions for outstanding items.
- Expense Management: Approve expense claims, ensuring they are well-supported, compliant with policies, and within budget.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with various departments to provide guidance on financial matters, policies, and procedures.
- Process Improvement: Review, enhance, and automate work processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Project Participation: Engage in ad hoc projects as assigned.
Fund Management
- Budgeting and Projections: Develop the annual budget and regular financial projections for company Fund.
- Board Reporting: Prepare Board approval papers, presentation slides, and meeting minutes.
- Compliance: Submit annual statutory reports in accordance with the Charities Act.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with program owners, fund-raising teams, and coordinate with internal/external auditors.
- Additional Assignments: Undertake other related responsibilities as required.
Group Treasury Management
- Cash Flow Management: Prepare cash flow projections, consolidated Group cash flow statements, and approval papers for Board submission.
- Reporting: Develop monthly journals, schedules, and the Cash and Investment Segmentation Report (CISR).
- Fund Management: Ensure sufficient funds for payments and manage the preparation of funds transfer instructions.
- Bank Account Management: Maintain bank accounts, update bank signatories, and manage related documentation.
- Portfolio Management: Manage the portfolio placed with MOHH Central Treasury.
- Coordination: Liaise with MOHH Central Treasury, banks, finance shared services, and company institutions.
- Project Participation: Contribute to Treasury projects as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Educational Background: Degree in Accountancy, Business, or equivalent; ACCA qualification added advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of relevant experience at the Executive level.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong data analytics skills, including experience with dashboards, charting, Power BI, RPA (UiPath), infographics, Tableau, VBA, and macros.
- System Knowledge: Experience in SAP is essential.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a strong ability to present information clearly and effectively.
