Primary Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize generative models for various applications, including natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and synthetic data generation.
- Perform deep data analysis and extract insights using advanced statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data mining methods.
- Work closely with our underwriting teams
- In collaboration with Pricing and Data Science specialists, develop and deploy industry leading data science models into production for use by the various underwriting teams
- Assist with the case pricing of specific risks, and binders, and build a deep understanding of the insurance domain
- Contribute to on-going pricing data science team projects and activities as required
- Fuse new data science techniques with traditional pricing methods to form a market leading team of pricing data science professionals
Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Preferred Competencies/Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Well-rounded Python experience (preferred)
- Experience with data science models and techniques, including machine learning (preferred)
- Willingness and desire to become a data science expert focused on the insurance domain (preferred)
