Job Duties:
- Oversee the entire credit operations process, including underwriting, documentation, and monitoring.
- Administer loan operations tasks such as loan booking, disbursement, repayment processing, fee collection, and collateral management.
- Work closely with internal teams like relationship managers, risk management, compliance, and legal to ensure timely and accurate processing of credit and loan transactions.
- Monitor credit exposures, loan portfolios, and trade finance transactions to identify potential risks and implement suitable risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures related to credit and loan operations.
- Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in credit and loan operations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to credit and loan operations.
- Perform Bancontrol duties for dormant accounts, including reviewing and reporting.
- Conduct Maker and Checker duties for risk management and quality assurance.
- Manage governance activities such as start-of-day and end-of-day checks, monitoring, and reporting.
