We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at a leading computer hardware retail store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, basic computer knowledge, and experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting and purchasing computer hardware and accessories.
- Utilize basic computer knowledge to help customers understand product specifications and features.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately for processing sales transactions.
- Respond to customer inquiries over the phone and via email in a professional and timely manner.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock management.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Be prepared to stand for extended periods and move around the store as needed to assist customers and perform inventory tasks.
Requirements:
- Age: 18 to 60 years old.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in local languages of Singapore (e.g., English, Mandarin, Malay, Tamil).
- Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computers and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience: Prior experience in retail sales and familiarity with using a POS system is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long hours and perform tasks that involve walking around the store.
Work Schedule:
- Days: 6 days a week.
- Off: 1 off day per week.
- Working Hours: Long working hours, including weekends and public holidays as per retail industry standards.
