· Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance with codes, standards, regulations, equipment-specific specifications, and Quality Management System (QMS) and Project Quality Plan (PQP) requirements.
· Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive QMS/PQP for planning, construction, inspection, documentation, and operations activities.
· Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to all QA/QC personnel
· Oversee and supervise all visual inspections and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) procedures, including those performed by third-party subcontractors.
· Manage inspection and testing plans for new construction, repairs, and alterations.
· Identify and implement solutions to improve inspection functionalities.
· Manage construction processes and inspections and conduct QMS internal audits.
· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Requirements:
· A bachelor’s degree OR diploma in civil / construction engineering (or a related field) is preferred.
· Proven experience (minimum five years) in managing field engineering, inspection, and related QA/QC functions.
· Strong understanding and experience with project planning, execution (considering construction realities), management, and communication with diverse engineering teams.
· Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA/QC professionals.
