Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cafe Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of fresh and healthy salads in a fast-paced cafe environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of salads according to established recipes and guidelines
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored
- Keep work areas clean and sanitized at all times
- Manage inventory and stock rotation to ensure freshness of ingredients
- Assist with menu development and suggest new salad ideas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the cafe
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or special requests
Requirements
- Proven experience in Food and Beverage, Food Preparation or similar role
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
