I- Basic Function/General Scope of Work
You are required to perform your duties in strict accordance with the company’s instructions. The Solution Deployment Lead is responsible for detailed solution deployment planning, preparation, set-up, readiness and cutover activities, working day-to-day with the business stakeholders and multiple vendors to prepare users for, conduct and manage a phased solution deployment across all the clients' operations.
II- Responsibilities
✓ Act as a point of contact between officers and branch managers. This includes collation on guards’ request off day, site logistics etc.
✓ Assists Operations for deployment of manpower, e.g., daily cover of shortfall and events. This includes calling officers at site to check on their reporting timing and presence.
✓ Prepare daily/weekly/monthly rostering
✓ Ensure on manpower deployment planning align with government regulations such as deploying officer not more than 12 hours shift, deploying officers with notification to PLRD has been completed, deploying officers to site according to client’s contract specs. and etc.
✓ Provides Payroll the summary of attendance for pay processing of weekly-paid officers
✓ Assists Payroll in checking and computation of Allowance Templates
✓ Update muster roll on guards’ attendance including checking of total rest and off days in the month for all direct employees
✓ Assists Payroll in investigating pay complaints and prepares Change Forms for payment processing
✓ Assists Finance in preparing attendances for billing purposes
✓ Preparation of the Liquidated Damages Monthly Report
✓ Follow-up with deployment for new hire and/or stop deployment on officer who already ceased the employment
✓ Prepare & upkeep Employee’s Personal Record File (PRF)
✓ Attend & resolve officers’ grievances including in disciplining officers’ misconduct not limited to issuing warning letter
✓ Weekly checking of Contractual vs Actual hours (iRep attendance), Weekly checking of Shortfall including pending attendance of officers on AWOL
III- Requirements and skills
➢ Proven work experience as a Deployment Manager
➢ The role requires a high level of analytical skills with the ability to prioritize customer issues. Judgements need to be made on varying issues with sometimes only minimal data.
➢ Possess Business skills. One of the key soft skills for a deployment manager to have is business skills. This relates to what deployment manager do because "its managers must develop and implement strategic plans to reach the goals of their organizations."
➢ Possess Leadership skills.
➢ Possess Analytical skills. A big part of what deployment manager do rely on "analytical skills." You can see how essential it is to deployment manager responsibilities because "its managers must analyze problems and consider and select the best ways to solve them."
➢ Possess Good Communication skills. Another common skill required for deployment manager responsibilities is "communication skills." This skill comes up in the duties of deployment manager to communicate with ground officers and branch managers
