- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of project managers in the Asia Business Division, ensuring that projects meet financial, quality, customer service, inventory, and cost objectives.
- Proactively develop and implement metrics, monitoring, and control processes to remove obstacles and significantly enhance remediation and renewal capabilities.
- Continuously reassess and identify key risks and issues, developing controls and metrics to support the evolving business and regulatory environment.
- Monitor project budgets, scopes, and schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time to avoid revenue losses from delayed office openings or relocations.
- Review projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
- Oversee all on-site and off-site constructions to ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Manage procurement, material sourcing, and approvals across Asia-Pacific markets.
- Liaise with fixtures and materials suppliers across the region.
- Responsible for the entire store project function, from design and fixture ordering to construction and delivery.
- Ensure consistency in store fit-outs and adherence to brand standards across the region.
- Organize workshops and training sessions for various markets within the region.
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging issues.
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Requirements and skills
- Proven working experience in construction management as a Project Manager with track records.
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
- Leadership and human resources management skills
- Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field
