Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and data-driven Marketing Data Analyst to join our team. This role will be instrumental in driving organic search visibility, increasing website traffic, and enhancing user experience.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search engine optimization (SEO), marketing touch points and how these elements integrate with UX design principles to enhance website / product performance and user engagement.
Responsibilities
- Centralised data aggregation - Consolidates marketing data from various sources (Google Analytics, Firebase analytics, Google tag manager, Google Search Console, and SEMrush) to enable comprehensive analysis.
- Data insights - Analyses data from various sources (eg customer profile and web/app browsing behaviour) to produce actionable insights to support or devise strategies.
- Analyse conversion funnels - Analyse the performance of conversion funnels and experiments by measuring metrics like open rate, conversion rates, click-through rates and return on investment (ROI). Track and provide regular reporting on how the strategy is performing and provide areas of improvement based on data analysis.
- Customer segmentation - Assist in customer segmentation strategies, and tailor strategies to specific audience segments to drive incremental conversion on website / app.
- Competitor analysis - Conduct competitor analysis and study market trends to develop digital marketing strategies to achieve specific business objectives
- Reporting - Create data dashboards to track and monitor performance of marketing campaign strategies and extract actionable insights to ensure revenue growth.
- User experience design integration - Optimise site navigation, page load speed, and mobile responsiveness to enhance user experience.
- Content optimisation - Work closely with content creators to ensure that all website content is optimised for search engines and user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in SEO and SEM.
- Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz).
- Experience with PPC campaign management and tools (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads).
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.).
- Understanding of website analytics and user behaviour metrics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Add on skill set
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights
- Experience with user experience research methodologies.
- Proven experience in SEO and SEM, with a strong understanding of UX design principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
