Serangoon Gardens Country Club is seeking an energetic and driven Membership & Marketing Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving membership growth through effective sales strategies, fostering relationships with current and prospective members, and ensuring an exceptional member experience through events and activities.
This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a deep understanding of sales and marketing techniques.
Job Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, plan, and produce social and recreational events for the club.
- Assist in membership sales and road-show promotion during club-wide events and/or external activities.
- Conduct post-event reports and feedback gathering for review.
- To solicit for merchant partnerships and promotional activities.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and referrals to convert prospects into members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing members, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Address and draft replies to resolve member issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Managing vendor relationships, partners/stakeholder communications and budget planning, etc.
- Promote activities actively on social media platforms and/or publicity materials to raise awareness and engagement.
- Assist in the production and copy writing of club magazines, annual report, and/or promotional materials.
- Liaise with event management, design agencies, print and production companies to ensure projects are delivered on time
- Collaboration with internal teams to ensure that function rooms are fully set-up according to the event order.
- Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by the management from time to time, within your category of employment in the organization
Requirements:
- University Degree/Diploma in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience
- Possess event management and partnership relationship management or where relevant and equivalent
- Results-oriented mindset with a proven track record in meeting targets
- Ability to multi-task with self-driven attitude, detail-orientated and good time management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal and negotiation skills
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software, Adobe Illustrator and graphic design tools
- Familiar with video editing tools and delivering events and video clips
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive, customer-focused attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding service
