Job Title: Factory Assistant Factory Manager
Location: 1 Woodlands Height, #01-03, Singapore 737859
As a Factory Assistant Factory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire production process within our food manufacturing facility. This role requires a strategic leader with in-depth knowledge of food manufacturing operations, a focus on quality control, and a commitment to meeting production goals.
Core Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Production Planning and Scheduling:
• Coordinate with different departments (e.g., procurement, logistics, quality control) to ensure seamless production flow.
• Develop and implement production plans to meet demand while ensuring optimal resource utilization.
• Monitor and implement production efficiency, yield, and quality to optimize manufacturing operations.
Quality Assurance:
• Establish and monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
• Implement quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to monitor and improve product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Supply Chain Management:
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of raw materials and finished products.
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize carrying costs and avoid stockouts.
Health and Safety Compliance:
• Understands and follows all food safety and quality practices and standards (ISO22000, HACCP) in the workplace.
• Enforce and promote a culture of adhering to Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) practices within the manufacturing environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Equipment Maintenance:
• Address any issues that arise during production, such as equipment malfunctions or quality defects.
• Work with maintenance teams to ensure that machinery and equipment are in good working condition.
Process Optimization:
• Establish process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices and other continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Leadership:
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse workforce to work cohesively toward common goals.
• Supervise production staff and ensure that they are following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Cost Control:
• Monitor production costs and implement strategies to optimize resource utilization.
• Work to reduce operational expenses while maintaining quality standards.
Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production volumes, downtime, and quality control checks.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to the Production Manager on production performance and any issues encountered
Ad Hoc Duties:
• Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
• Proven experience in food manufacturing operations, with a focus on leadership and process improvement.
• Be able to work independently with a high level of inquisitiveness, initiative and resourcefulness.
• Familiarity with industry-specific technologies and manufacturing software
• Strong understanding of Food Safety Management Systems
(preferred: Food Safety Course Level 3 and above)
