Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Ensure cargo are delivered appropriately to ensure quality of goods during transportation
• Review impact of logistics changes, such as routing, deliveries modes, product volumes and report results to others
• Ensure that all functions of logistics support are in line with business demands
• Responsible for working closely with warehouse manager in the implementation of projects and all ad-hoc logistics requirements
• Implementation of effective management policies
• Drive talent development of staff
• Consistently deliver profit and volume targets set by the management.
• Plan and monitor the day-to-day operations to ensure smooth progress such as in case of manpower shortage, candidate will have to be able to perform the job scope required.
• Need to do unstuffing for container and delivery.
Requirement:
• At least 2 years of working experience in Logistics
• Possess strategic thinking and ability to articulate ideas
• Required to be put on 24 hours standby round the clock for any unforeseen emergency recall
• Able to drive warehouse equipment - forklift, reach truck & pallet jets
• Able to speak in English and mandarin for communicate with customer and staff.
• Able to work in high volume & high intensity environment
• Able to deal with staff firmly while maintaining good working relationship.
