Job Responsibilities :
- Oversee the day-to-day Accounting operations, managing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Revenue Recognition, and collaborating closely with the Accounting and Trade Departments to streamline processes, implement best practices, and enhance productivity.
- Prepare internal monthly and quarterly reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Consolidation packages, and variance analyses.
- Review accounting schedules, such as Fixed Assets, Prepayments, and Inventory, and ensure accurate postings in the SAP system.
- Assist in ensuring timely book closings and review manual entries for adjustments.
- Approve payment workflows, ensuring proper documentation order and posting entries.
- Collaborate with IT and stakeholders on system updates, testing, and implementing automation improvements.
- Liaise with the Corporate Secretary on ACRA filing matters.
- Assist in Internal and External Audits, preparing financial statement notes and workings.
- Handle all tax matters, including GST, Corporation Tax, GTP, Withholding Tax, and Transfer Pricing Documentation.
- Support the Senior Accounting Manager/CFO with various projects and tasks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CA
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting, Tax, and Audit, ideally within the Trading industry.
- Familiarity with FRS, GST, Transfer pricing documentation, Corporate Tax, and other statutory reporting requirements to ACRA or IRAS.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical abilities.
- Ability to multitask and collaborate effectively within a team.
