PLC Programmer (1-Year Contract)

Responsibilities:
· Portal for various processes & discrete Automation, Optimize PLC code for efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
· Configure PLC hardware and I/O modules, create and maintain detailed PLC program documentation.
· Configure alarms, trends, and reports for process monitoring and control, Integrate SCADA/HMI with PLC systems for seamless operation.
· Configure data exchange and communication protocols between PLC and DCS
· Provide training to end-users on system operation and maintenance
· Implement corrective actions to restore system functionality and provide ongoing system maintenance and support.
· Collaborate with project teams to define system requirements and specifications
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering field.
· Minimum 5 years of hands-on PLC programming experience with PLC platforms.
· Proficiency in TIA Portal, SCADA, DCS, and HMI software environments.
