Job responsibilities:
- Responsible for establishing the AML framework, systems, policies and procedures for the business lines across group companies in Singapore.
- Undertake customer due diligence checks and determination of risk assessment in the account onboarding, periodic reviews, transactions monitoring, senior management reporting, compliance testing and training.
- Have a good knowledge of local regulatory AML requirements and have the know-how to carry out benchmarking and apply steps to design the controls that commensurate the nature and scale of the business activities and operations.
- Is the subject matter expert to provide advice, guidance and communicate key development and changes to all relevant departments to perform their AML responsibilities
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments, trends and emerging risks and threats and assess the appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 8 -10 years' experience in AML/KYC
- Working knowledge of wealth management business is preferred with hand-on experience and familiarity with regulatory expectations and market practices
- Is mature, team player and has an agility mindset to respond to changes and growth in the business operations.
