We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Consultant to join our team as a QA Leader. This is a 12 months contract role to start with a possibility of extension.
In this pivotal role, you will spearhead our QA automation efforts and set the standard for excellence in our testing practices. Your leadership will drive the successful implementation of automation strategies and ensure the highest quality standards are maintained across all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive QA automation strategies, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices. Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals to achieve excellence in testing and automation.
- Automation Frameworks: Design, develop, and optimize automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. Oversee the integration of these frameworks into existing CI/CD pipelines.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline QA operations, reduce time-to-market, and improve product quality. Establish and enforce QA best practices and standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and operations to ensure comprehensive test coverage and address any quality issues proactively.
- Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular reports and insights on test results, automation progress, and quality metrics to senior management. Utilize data-driven approaches to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior QA leadership role, with a strong track record in automating QA processes and setting up best practices.
- Deep expertise in various QA automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG).
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and inspire a team of QA professionals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
