Job Overview:
We are seeking a Drafter with Designer Skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in design along with proficiency in design software and creative problem-solving abilities. The Drafter will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and collaborating with the team to ensure projects meet aesthetic and functional requirements. Guidance and support provided for the specialized job scope, however proficiency in design software Adobe Illustrator is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by clients.
- Utilize Adobe Illustrator to produce accurate drawings.
- Collaborate with the teams to translate conceptual ideas into technical drawings.
- Review and revise drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in design meetings and provide input on technical feasibility and design optimization.
- Assist in the development of prototypes and mock-ups to test and validate design concepts.
- Maintain organized files and documentation of drawings, revisions, and project specifications.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator design software.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for details.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively independently.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred but not required:
- Proven experience as a designer or drafter, with a strong portfolio showcasing vector drawings.
- Experience in a design or interior design environment is a plus.
- Diploma or degree in Design, Drafting, Engineering, or related field.
