Position Summary: The Warehouse Storekeeper will be responsible for managing and organizing the inventory within the warehouse. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing products while maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
Since we have few machines, we prefer someone with mechanical ability and/or qualification along with the logistics experience and/or education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory and supplies.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring proper storage conditions.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Perform regular inventory checks and audits.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with managing and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in warehouse management is a plus.
- Proven experience and/or education in logistics .
- Proven experience and/or education in mechanical aspects
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse management software.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
