Ventas Bio is seeking a skilled and versatile IT Specialist to oversee the company’s technology infrastructure, primarily focusing on implementing and managing ERP systems, AppSheet applications, and machine learning (ML) initiatives. This contract position is ideal for a tech-savvy individual who can handle a wide range of IT responsibilities, including network management, system integration, and support for digital transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- ERP System Implementation and Management: Lead the configuration, customization, and deployment of the company’s ERP system to align with business processes and operational needs.
- Ensure the ERP system is effectively integrated across various departments, providing support and troubleshooting as required.
- Oversee data migration efforts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and security throughout the process.
- Monitor and optimize ERP performance, implementing updates and improvements as necessary.
AppSheet Development and Deployment:
- Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using AppSheet to automate workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
- Work closely with process owner to gather requirements, define use cases, and ensure that AppSheet applications meet business objectives.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for AppSheet applications, making enhancements and updates based on user feedback and evolving needs.
Machine Learning (ML) Support:
- Assist in integrating ML models and algorithms into business processes to drive data-driven decision-making and innovation.
- Collaborate with subject matter expert and analysts to implement ML solutions that optimize operations, enhance product development, and improve customer insights.
- Monitor ML applications and systems, ensuring they perform as expected and align with business goals.
IT Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, including network management, server administration, and cybersecurity.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems to support business operations.
- Implement best practices for network management, data backup, disaster recovery, and IT security.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide technical support to employees, resolving IT-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in ERP implementation and management, preferably with systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Proficiency in low-code/no-code platforms, specifically AppSheet, with experience in developing and deploying applications.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and tools, with a basic understanding of how to integrate ML into business processes.
- Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
