Responsibilities
- Support the overall recruitment strategy
- Partner with hiring managers to determine hiring needs
- Keep abreast of legislative changes in local employment laws, foreign worker levy, dependency ratio ceilings, etc.
- Understand business and implement sourcing strategy through various channels including job portals, social media, professional networking site and others
- Arrange interviews, provide evaluations and conduct reference checks
- Prepare salary proposal and employment contract
- Provide regular manpower and hiring update to management
- Drive strategy for direct sourcing, employee referrals and internal mobility
- Participate in campus recruitment, job fair, internship, traineeship and government job programs, etc.
- Responsible for work pass application of foreign hire
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in recruitment.
- Basic knowledge of the Employment Act.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and legislations.
- Resourceful and familiar with government scheme
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills
