Role Overview:
As part of our continued growth and commitment to offering comprehensive advisory services, Calsius Group is seeking an experienced Consultant in Business Continuity & Crisis Management. This role will play a pivotal part in developing our advisory team’s new capability focused on helping clients manage risks and respond to crises effectively. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in business continuity management (ISO 31030) and crisis management (ISO 22361), ensuring our clients are equipped to handle disruptions and safeguard their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consultancy & Advisory: Provide expert guidance to clients on the development and implementation of comprehensive business continuity plans, crisis management frameworks, and organizational resilience strategies.
- ISO 31030 Implementation: Help clients establish robust travel risk management systems in line with ISO 31030 standards, ensuring their people and operations are protected from potential threats.
- Crisis Management (ISO 22361): Lead the design and implementation of crisis management systems for clients, focusing on preparation, response, and recovery to critical incidents and operational disruptions.
- Risk Assessment & Strategy Formulation: Conduct in-depth risk assessments for clients and develop tailored strategies that address their specific business continuity and crisis management needs.
- Training & Simulations: Design and deliver workshops, crisis simulations, and training programs to build clients' capabilities in business continuity and crisis response.
- Regulatory Compliance & Audits: Guide clients through the necessary compliance requirements associated with ISO 31030 and ISO 22361, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulations.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing them with strategic insights and recommendations that enhance their resilience to crises and operational risks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams across Calsius Group to ensure clients receive integrated solutions that address their security, risk management, and continuity needs.
- Thought Leadership: Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in business continuity and crisis management, and represent Calsius Group at relevant industry forums, seminars, and conferences.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Continuity, Crisis Management, or a related field.
- Certification in ISO 31030 and ISO 22361 standards is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business continuity planning, crisis management, or related fields.
- Proven experience in leading the implementation of ISO standards (31030, 22361) within complex organizations.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment, crisis simulation, and emergency preparedness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to think strategically and provide solutions in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
