Job Description:
- Construct, maintain, and repair buildings and structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
- Measure and mark materials for cutting and assembly
- Operate hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and sanders
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and engineers
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in building construction or related field
- Knowledge of building codes, safety protocols, and construction methods
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (may be required)
Additional Skills:
- Carpentry, masonry, or other specialized trade skills
- Experience with project management software and tools
- Certification in OSHA, first aid, or other relevant areas
