Responsibilities:
- Ensure financial reporting adheres to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, the bank's accounting policies and procedures, and compliance with local statutory & MAS regulatory requirements.
- Process for staff claims and payment for daily operating expenses
- Work closely with the branch’s internal and external auditors on audit matters.
- Liaise with tax agent, provide relevant tax information and verify submission of data is accurate and compliant tax filings
- Liaise with external auditors
- Familiar with MAS reporting, to review MAS reports prepared by the team, draft and respond to the queries and questions raised by MAS.
Requirements:
- Possess a degree in Finance & Accounting with minimum 3 years financial and accounting experience in banks
- Proficient in MS Excel is essential
- Meticulous and good team player
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese as incumbent is required to liaise with colleagues in from mainland China.
