The Mind Collected is an organization dedicated to the cultivation and support of mental health and wellbeing. We offer counselling and psychotherapy services, psychoeducational workshops, and mindfulness training tailored to the needs of our clinical and corporate clients. We work mainly with professionals, couples and young adults.
Our team is passionate about mental health, and has a strong background in private psychotherapy, mindfulness, and corporate training. We are looking for clinicians who are humanistic in their approach, dedicated to honing their craft, and passionate about spreading the gift of therapy.
As a psychotherapist, you will be focused primarily on providing psychotherapeutic support to our clients. You will also take part in monthly peer supervision groups so we may support each other in learning and improving.
We are particularly interested in clinicians who wish to dedicate themselves to deepening their specialisations and approach, and building a vibrant practice. We look to support you in doing so, and hope to work with clinicians who care deeply about their clients, and are willing to go the extra mile in ensuring their recovery and well-being.
Pre-requisites
- At least a master’s degree in counselling/psychotherapy/psychology from a recognised university
- Experience working with professionals
- Well-versed in at least one therapeutic approach with a commitment to continuing education (ACT,CBT,Psychodynamic etc)
- Certification and experience working with couples is highly desirable (Gottman Method, EFT)
- Actively working towards registration or is already a registered member of a professional counselling or psychological body. (SPS/SAC/APA etc.)
- Must be available to work on weekends and after office hours
- Must be able to commit to between 8 - 24 hours of clinical work a week
Roles & Responsibilities
- Counselling and psychotherapy for individuals and couples
- Engaging in peer supervision when necessary
- Writing case notes
- Independent management of clients and schedule
Desirable Qualities
- Ability to conduct psychological assessment
- Couples therapist with relevant certification
- Experience and training working with couples and children
- Experience of having been a client in therapy before
- Passionate about improving their practice to better serve their clients
- Personal contemplative practice
Salary
This is a contract for service position renewed yearly.
Salary is based on the number of billable hours worked every month. Clinician remuneration ranges from $80.00 to $100.00 /hour depending on case load, and seniority within the practice.
Estimated monthly salary: $3200 - $7200
